The Green School 2022

In the spring of 2022 (March-May), we will organize four Green Schools, which will train over 120 young people. The event is organized by Sofia Municipality in the implementation of the Food Wave project, and offers free practical training to raise the activity in terms of sustainable food production and consumption, climate change and environmental protection. We will be happy to include anyone who is interested in how, through our daily choices, we can be part of the positive change towards a quality and environmentally friendly life. The training program includes:

• Thematic module: we will improve the knowledge, understanding and awareness of the links between food systems and climate change, both in Bulgaria and globally
• Module for social communication: we will strengthen our skills and competencies to influence the opinion and attitudes for change in local communities and beyond
• Module for policies and youth activism: we will develop institutional competence, dynamics and potential for the link between food and climate through practical networking, commitment and activism
• Practical classes in farms for organic farming, urban gardens, zero waste restaurants, workshops and shops;
